Research On Particular Social Responsibilities Of Chinese State-owned Enterprises

In recent years, whether international or domestic, corporate social responsibilityhas been a hot topic nowadays.A huge boost China’s overall national benefits from thecontinuous development of the national economy so that people’s living standardscontinue to improve.However, China is also faced with many challenges, such asweak economic development, social issues outstanding, depletion of natural resources,and environmental degradation.In this environment, corporate social responsibilityreceived particular attention.China is a socialist country, the socialist marketeconomic system, and the state-owned economy in the national economy has aspecialstatusand plays an important role.Therefore, to explore corporate social responsibilityin our country, we should first investigate the state-owned corporate socialresponsibility. This paper argues that special features of state-owned economydetermines the Chinese state-owned enterprise social responsibility is different fromordinary enterprise social responsibility. Under the socialist market economic system,China’s state-owned enterprises as the microcosmic entity of owned economy havemany general functions, such as market failures, the provision of public goods andservices. In addition, China’s state-owned enterprises also have many features, such asthe consolidation of the socialist system, safeguard national economic security. Andcorporate social responsibility should reflect the positioning of its own features, so itis a special feature of the state-owned economy determines theparticular socialresponsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises.At this stage, the ongoing deepening reform of state-owned enterprises, corporatesocial responsibility is also included in the reform of state-ownedenterprises.Therefore, it is great value to explore the particular social responsibilitiesof Chinese state-owned enterprises.The first chapter is written background of the articles, the paper structure,possible innovation and shortcomings, as well as literature review. The secondchapter is the study of the basic theory. The basic theory of this article is thestakeholder theory, social contract theory, and corporate citizenship theory. Thenexplain and summarize the origins of CSR in three dimensions.The third chapterdiscusses general function of country’s economy under the socialist market economy,and general content of Chinese state-owned enterprises corporate social responsibility.And the third chapter is to pave the way to discuss the particular socialresponsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises.The fourth chapter studies theparticular social responsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises.By analyzing thecharacteristics of the socialist market economy and state-owned enterprises specialfunction in the market economy conditions,summarizes the determinants of particularsocial responsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises and the contents ofparticular social responsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises.The fifth chapter,from the perspective of government and state-owned enterprise perspective, explorethe realization ofparticular social responsibilities of Chinese state-owned enterprises.
