Knowledge staff is the key recourse of economic and social development. According to the statistic data from overseas researchers, in20th century and the developed countries, the contribution from the knowledge resource and human capital was increased5%to20%. Even to the end of the20th century, this contribution has been increased to60%to80%. As estimated, in21th century, with rapid development of high technologies and the open of information fast path, the contribution will be increased to90%. The enterprise, the cell of the social economy, should pay more attention to the knowledge staff who is the key factor of the success of the company.The core of the knowledge economy is the knowledge staff and they are playing the key role in the enterprises which rely on the knowledge economy. At the same time, they impact on the health development of the company and even have the impact on the success of the company. They have different types, including technical staff, management staff, marketing and sales etc. This article is based on the relevant principles and practices about motivation and development of the knowledge staff, analysis the attraction and retaining of the knowledge staff as well as the situation and requirement from knowledge staff of the Company D, provides the comments on it. The contents include how to improve the efficiency of the recruitment and selection, to development and train the staff for continuous development, establish the competitive compensation and benefits schemes as well as the fair and high efficiency performance management schemes etc.
