Research On Current Situation, Problems And Countermeasures Of Agricultural Techniques Extension In Urumqi County

Sustainable development of agriculture has the direct bearing on the development ofnational economy and the growth in the living standard of public. With the socialdevelopment, the agricultural technology and living standard of farmers of our country havebeen greatly improved. In comparison with the development of world’s agriculture, our levelis still far behind it. speed up the adjustment of agricultural economy, relying on science andtechnology to step forward and improve farmers’ diathesis. Our primary tasks of sustainabledevelopment of agriculture are strengthening the agro-technology extension of grass roots andto construct brand new agro-technology extension system to adapt the economic development.Direct at the problems of agency of agricultural extension and service, combine themethods of literature review, interview and theory study, and center on agro-technologyextension of grass roots. This article researches service actuality, way of promotion, operatingmechanism and management system of agro-technology extension agency of Urumqi County,to find out the major problems and put forward some suggestions as follow：Firstly, improvethe comprehensive quality of extension workers greatly. Secondly, strengthen thegovernment’s support for agro-technology extension. Thirdly, improve the method ofagro-technology extension which can adapt to the characteristics of Urumqi County. Fourthly,straighten out the management system of agricultural extension. And at last, strengthenagricultural education and technical training of farmers.
