With the rapid development of Electronic Commerce during recent years, it has become the necessary way to go to market for enterprise. That brings about profound changes for supply chain management in manufacturing companies. Now business is transferred from offline to online and transaction is accomplished through the network. To manufacturing, it means the supply chain needs to provide products more abundant and cheaper, and deliver service more efficient, faster and more flexible. Obviously, in electronic commerce age, manufacturing companies have to improve their supply chain management to adjust to the business environment changes.Meanwhile, under environment of domestic economic growth slowed and international economic uncertain, manufacturing is facing rising cost pressure and increasingly market competition. To meet these challenges, supply chain management needs to take advantage of integration of resource from the whole industry view and focuses on building core competence. Naturally, the E-commerce will be company’s priority in exploring broader and quicker sales channels. Therefore, it is necessary that supply chain management should be upgraded to company strategic height. Through making supply chain strategy, company can construct competence in cost, response and flexibility and seize new developing opportunities brought by E-commerce.This thesis researches on supply chain strategy formulation in manufacturing enterprises under electronic commerce environment through a large number of theoretical research and management practices. It analyzes the necessary supply chain strategy formulation, gives the suggestion of strategic objectives, crucial tasks and related improvement measures in business model. This paper also aims at to provide theoretical and practical guidance for manufacturers in the implementation of supply chain management.
