As a leading company in Chinese rubber machinery industry, Company M has ranked a second position in the global market and the first in China. It is leading in both volume and technical level in China. However, its position in the global market is still not comparable with its Western competitors. Setting Russian market as its bridgehead to the internal market is one of the company’s development strategies. This essay will provide analysis of the Russian market in the macro-environment as well as its competition force in its field, and finally conclude the exploring strategy and implementation measurements in this market.The conditions of the company itself, the political, economic, social and technological factors of Russia are considered as main influences of the analysis, as well as the facts directly related to tire industry. Further to that, the general situation and investment demand of the main tire producers in this region are also analyzed, with the methodology of Five Forces Model. The most feasible exploring strategy is concluded together with the implementation method.Qualitative analysis and quantitative statistics methods are adopted in this essay. The international marketing theory, marketing mix theory, STP methodology, macro-environment including politics, economy, society and technology of this region has its own features compared to the rest of the world; yet it is also much involved in the world’s general situation. Many data and facts from the professional media are used to analyze the rule of the tire industry in this region.Theoretical analysis and modular analysis are commonly used including, STP, SWOT, PEST, Five Forces, etc, such as Five Forces are used to build the competition model of the industry in this region with conclusion of the competition situation.
