The Research Of Lean Layout On A Company’s Starter Drive Production

With the rapid development of global economy and the increasingly fierce competition, Chinese manufacturing enterprises will be increasingly faced with competition and challenges that from other countries’ manufacturing enterprises. It is an urgent problem for the enterprise which wants to improve the degree of modernization and reduce production costs. In this process, the enterprises are increasingly focusing on lean management. Especially, the plant layout is an important part. A reasonable layout of factory cannot only reduce the product manufacture cost and the operation cost, but also improve the efficiency of logistics, production efficiency, equipment utilization rate and the number of qualified products.At the same time,enterprises can optimize production management process and improve the whole economic benefits by putting the lean concept into the layout design system, which make enterprises more competitive.Systematic layout planning is a very important part in the field of industrial engineering, it mainly uses quantitative data between each operating unit to design layout. This article mainly uses the method of combining SLP and lean concept to redesign new factory. Firstly, researching and working in the various departments and production workshops, Carding the problems in production, processing, management and other aspects, and analyze the influence of enterprise layout. Then, select the most representative products after a series of analysis, we use the SLP method to redesign layout of each production workshop which suit for the productions of the enterprise. Finally, do some quantitative calculations by the method of Analytic hierarchy process(AHP) on several layouts that has got before, and then pick out the best layout scheme.
