The Study On The Economic Effects Of The Asean Interconnecion-China

This article first elaborated the concept of interoperability, which includes three areas:infrastructure, docking mechanism, and cultural exchanges. And summarized the research on this question. Then the article discourse the relationship between the Internet interoperable deployment and economic growth, and also the status quo of China-ASEAN Interconnection, will be described in three dimensions, respectively, in the fourth Section, the effect of trade, investment, finance will be analysised, in terms of trade effect, by drawing mutual trade volume between China and ASEAN, directly reflect fluctuations in trade after the implementation of interoperability, then it will be accompanied by the Balassa model; in terms of investment effect, through mutual investment and the proportion of the total investment,it explains the investment creation and investment diversion effect after the interconnection;in terms of financial effect, it will be verified by financial institutions and deposits scale after the interconnection. Finally, the article gave appropriate countermeasures from three aspects of economic, institutional, and cultural.This paper studies have shown that since the launching of China and ASEAN interconnection, it has played a catalytic role on the China-ASEAN cooperation in trade, investment, finance and other aspects,but there is still lack of infrastructure, mechanisms, and humanities. For these three aspects, the paper recommended to further strengthen the construction of infrastructure from rail, road, shipping and maritime, promoting the mechanism from industry, trade, investment and finance, deepen humanities from the culture, education and tourism.
