This article analyzes China-ASEAN economic integration and the regional distribution of manufacturing within the region. The impacts of regional economic integration are manifold.Analysis from the perspective of the distribution and aggregation of industries,is beneficial to consider the combination of national macro strategies with industrial transfer and industrial upgrading, and promote the coordinated development of regional economies. The article is divided into five parts. The first chapter mainly describes the research background and significance of economic integration and industrial location effect, the main framework and research methods of this paper, and the deficiencies of the paper. The second chapter combs the theoretical basis of this article and the related references at home and abroad. The third chapter analyzes the process of China-ASEAN economic integration, including the history of the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, the current situation of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the development status of China-ASEAN economic and trade relations.Chapter IV conducts the empirical research,Krugman called the conditions given by natural factors, such as factor endowment, market scale and other natural conditions,as the determinants of the "first nature" of industrial location, and the influence of market behavior and interaction of the economic entity on industrial location as the "second nature" determinants of industrial location. In this paper, the FTA factor is introduced, which involves both the national level and the industrial level and integration level. An empirical study was conducted on the distribution of 26 sub-sectors in the FTA region. The main conclusions were that the“first nature" and "second nature" factors directly affected the industrial distribution of the manufacturing industry; The greater the preferential tariff is,the greater the influence of the manufacturing industry's market potential and industry's pre-and post-industry relationship on the location choice of the industry; With the enhancement of the degree of integration, the preferential tariff preferences will indirectly affect the industrial locatioin distribution through the "second nature" factor; Before the FTA was formally established, the effect of technology-intensive industries accumulating in China was even more pronounced, but after the formal establishment, the effect of labor-intensive industries gathering in China was even more pronounced. The fifth chapter summarizes this article and puts forward relevant suggestions.
