Analysis Of The Influence Factors Of Oil Trade Development Between China And Russia

China-Russia oil trade and cooperation began in 1992, and developed substantially from 1999, accounted for only 7% of the total amount of imports at that time. In twenty-first century, China and Russia have developed an important relationship in politics, economy and trade, energy and military cooperation, energy trade etc. In 2014, Russia has become the third major source of oil exporting to China. Due to the two governments signed the territorial dispute settlement, political agreement, and energy cooperation agreement during 1996 to 2014. A good political basis of China-Russia relationship has been built because of these great deeds, with these two countries in political mutual trust on the basis of energy investment cooperation will be consolidated.Firstly, based on the Comparative Advantage Theory and New Institutional Theory as a foundation, we try to use theoretical significance to analyze the theory of China-Russia oil trade. Secondly, we analyze the Russian oil industry development as well as in the world petroleum import and export status, with the analysis of the development of petroleum industry, and Russia’s oil reserves in the world, and the yield of oil and gas energy and the proportion of Russian oil exports and policy, at the same time, the same work will be done to analyze China’s oil industry development and oil imports, consumption and trade partners. By analyzing the current situation of China-Russia oil trade development, including the characteristics of China-Russia oil trade, the basis of China-Russia oil trade as well as the existing problems. This thesis mainly focuses on the study of factors affecting the China-Russia oil trade development, including the factors of demand, supply, price and economic development level, and the influence factors of quantitative empirical analysis, which used to test the level of China-Russia oil trade influenced by these factors. Finally, we try to put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the China-Russian oil trade. This paper intends to solve the problems included:To explore the influence factors of China-Russian oil trade development; Countermeasures to consolidate and promote the China-Russia oil trade.
