The paper analyzes the present utilization situation of the key industrial landidentified by the project called "The development and demonstration of land protection and supervision technology in the urban belt in central China" and existing industrial land in Wanjiang city-cluster. The evaluation technique in saving the stock of industrial land was researched and the evaluation index system was built. Then, the potential saving industrial land can be estimated and the evaluation database used to estimate the intensity and utilization of the industrial land in demonstration area in Wanjiang city-cluster. The database can provide the tapping of industrial land with a reference. Establish the common technology of analyzing the intensity and utilization of industrial land and the stock tapping control technology. The model library of incremental control and assessment techniques are established. The regulated information system in different industries in Wan-Jiang belt is researched and developed. The system will contribute to the control dynamics and visualization of the utilization of different industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt. It also benefits to maximize mining the potential utilization of land and improve the efficiency of land use.By research the industrial land control technology in Wan-Jiang city belt, the paper made the following research work:1. Analyzing the industry types may be undertaken in Wan-Jiang city belt and identify the industrial land type and the condition of existing industrial land. Collecting the data of the utilization of different type industrial lands. Develop a land use data sets for acquisition and relocation of industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt.2. Developing data classification, sorting and updating technology have based on the collected data of Wanjiang city-cluster industrial land structure, strength and size.Unifying the data format and standards to meet the requirements of data integration projects and leaving the interface aside when input the data. This is preparing for updating daily data and providing technical support for the dynamic and transient realization of industrial land saving utilization. Building an evaluation database covering industrial land in demonstration area and provide data support and technical platformsfor supervising intensive utilization of industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt.3. Finding out the macro-industrial land using characteristics and existing problems byanalyzing and evaluating the present status of the stock of industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt. For the existing problems, analyzing thefactors impact the macro-industrial land utilization and identifying the key influencing factors. Building the evaluation systemto evaluate the utilization of industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt. Practical and accurate principle is used and weights of each index is determined in the evaluation.Depending on the different key indicators of industrial land evaluation and the different types of industrial land intensive use evaluation focus, adjusting the indicators and weights, then, establishing the industrial land intensive use evaluation model.4. Identifying the composition of the stock of potential industrial land and developing the calculation methods on the basis of data analysis. Evaluating the industrial land indemonstration area by using the land intensive evaluation model and predicting the potential stock of different industrial land. Then, classifying the stock of industry land and provide reference and guidance for the transfer of industrial land in Wan-Jiang city belt.5. Realizing dynamic and visualization of industrial land saving and intensive use in Wan-Jiang city belt. Maximizing mining the potential of land use and improving land use efficiency.
