Research On Supplier Selection And Performance Evaluation Based On LPS

With social progress and the development of economy and technology, consumers’ demands become more personalized and diversified. The characteristics of lean production namely small batch and multi batch cater to consumers’needs, and the core concept "eliminating all waste" cater to the enterprises’concept that they want to enhance the competitiveness by reducing production costs. So the lean production is widely used in business circles.However, many enterprises who implement the lean production failed. The main reasons are the problems of products provided by suppliers in time, quantity or quality. The most important parts of supplier quality management are supplier selection and performance evaluation. Besides, the enterprises who implement lean production are more strict to suppliers because of the special nature of the lean production. Therefore, the study of supplier selection and performance evaluation under lean production is very important.In this paper, we studied the basic theories, like lean production, supplier quality management, supplier selection, supplier performance evaluation and so on, and the reams of research results. Based on these, this paper focuses on the study of the problem of supplier selection and performance evaluation based on lean production.First of all, based on researching a large number of related literatures on lean production, supplier selection, supplier performance evaluation and so on in the domestic and foreign countries, this paper introduced the related theory of lean production, supplier quality management. Then the paper points out the characteristics, core idea and structure of lean production to pave the way to study the special requirement of lean production to suppliers’products.Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the deficiency of the existed index system for supplier selection and the characteristics of lean production, this paper analysis the index for supplier selection under lean production in-depth, establishes the index system for supplier selection under lean production and introduces the quantitative method of index. Through analysis the advantages and disadvantages of various supplier selection method, the paper chooses the DEA method to construct the model of supplier selection and use the method of introducing virtual decision variables to order the suppliers. According to the data acquired from L Company, this paper verified the effectiveness and the feasibility of the model.Finally, the paper introduces supplier performance evaluation theory and present supplier performance evaluation method and dynamic management in L Company. Then, combined with the analysis of preamble, this paper put forward improvement suggestions for L Company and constructs the index system for supplier performance evaluation under lean production.
