The Case Study Of Communication Management For SAD2 Locomotive Project

With the development of globalization and technology, more and more Chinese companies are involved the globalize market system of procurement. Especially state-owned enterprise, has more opportunity to cooperate in technology and compete in marketing with west developed countries. In industry of locomotive manufacture, Chinese enterprise is keeping on learning to the technology and standards of developed countries, strengthening technology introduction and innovation, has reduced the gap in technology to the west developed countries. Only improving the level of enterprise management, updating the idea of management, enhancing project management and project communication management, can we indeed surpass the developed countries and have a standing room in the globalize completion.However, during the project cooperation and management with west developed countries, there will be much misunderstanding and conflicting occurrence. as a new challenge, how to manage and communicate with our cooperative partners coincidence the barriers as technology, standards, language, habit, and thinking, is puzzled most of enterprises. Communication management is the main method and appliance for improving the enterprise spirit and culture, accomplishing the enterprise operating objective. In a certain sense, communication is the core, essence and soul of the enterprise management. This thesis mainly analysis the current situation of communication management through the project communication management case of SAD2 locomotive project which is the first locomotive project exporting to the west developed country-Australian, deeply profile the project management in the company, especially the current situation of the project communication management and the communication culture, compare to the difference of the project management idea and method among the project participators, consideration to the theory of project communication management and the method of the project management, find the correlative communication management problems in Chinese manufacturing industry of the heavy equipments, finally offer the suggestions and proposals.Therefore, during the introduction of the project management, an enterprise shall authorize the project manager fully in project organization establishment, human resource management and project implementation period, through effective project communication management, making the team member play a part respectively, building a modern project management mode which take the benefit drive as motivation and meet the client requirements as objective, sufficiently optimization all kinds of resource allocated in project, reducing the cost of production, improvement the efficiency of work.Hopefully, this thesis will provide suggestions to the Chinese companies which are cooperating with the developed countries in the technology or exporting production and guide to the project communication management.
