With the rapid development of market economy and a high degree of specialization of social division of labor, Enterprises are facing increasingly fierce market competition environment. Because of the popularization and application of all kinds of information technology, Enterprises participate in the competition with enterprises all over the world. The competition between enterprises has developed into the competition of its supply chain. New competitive environment force enterprises to research on how to improve their own competitiveness from supply chain management. The evaluation and selection of suppliers is one of the key factors to the success of supply chain management. This paper studied on the SCM-based evaluation and selection of suppliers in Cozza company, It helped Cozza company to select qualified suppliers, optimize supplier network, improve competitiveness as well as provide other enterprises with reference.Through the elaboration of the related theories of supply chain, supply chain management, supplier evaluation index and evaluation methods and the integrated use of the literature research method, survey method, mathematical statistics method, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and the case analysis methods, This paper studied comprehensively and systematically on the evaluation and selction of suppliers in Cozza company.This paper mainly includes the following contents:(1)Firstly, Researched on related theories of experts and scholars on supply chain, supply chain management, supplier evaluation indexes and supplier evaluation methods. (2) Secondly, Analyzed the problems and causes of the existing supplier evaluation and selection system in Cozza company. (3)Thirdly, Proposed the improved process of the existing supplier evaluation and selection system; Design questionnaire to set up the improved criteria and indexes for supplier evaluation and seleciton. (4) Forthly, Used the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to determine the weight of criteria and indexes; Established supplier evaluation scorecard, Thus helped Cozza company to select correct suppliers. (5) Lastly, Through an example of choosing dining room furniture suppliers, Verified the practicability and science of the improved supplier evalution and selection system.
