Study On The Construction Of Three Suitable Cities And Towns Dominated By Comprehensive Tourism

Urbanization is the key issue in the modernization drive and it plays an important role in advancing the development of economy, society and culture in our country. At present, our country is in the transition period of economic development and the world environment is changing significantly. Based on the new situation and the new requirement, the Party’s Eighteen and the Central Economic Work Conference has conducted top-level design and made overall arrangements of new urbanization macro-tourism oriented construction and development. And it also points out the strategies of improving the quality of urbanization. The Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Century Committee proposed important decisions to improve the institutional mechanisms of integration of urban and rural development, to advance the mechanism of regional harmonious development, to promote the human-centered urbanization and to boost rural-urban migration.New Urbanization in our country is still at the beginning stage, without applicable experience to refer to. This paper deconstructs the essence and content of city and micro-tourism and discusses a brand new idea of new urbanization macro-tourism oriented construction system by example analysis, literature research, and the combination of practice and theory etc. It concludes the pattern and relative planning strategies of new urbanization macro-tourism oriented construction system by case study.Chapter one is research background: the paper originated from extensive and low efficiency problems in past urbanization construction and the proposition of new urbanization construction and its requirements. It summarized domestic theory related to new-type urbanization construction and overseas research on urban construction development.Chapter two is the basic research on comprehensive tourism, new-type urbanization and three-suitable city theory(suitable for residence, development and entrepreneurship): it respectively illustrated the connotation of comprehensive tourism and new-type urbanization, and analyzed the relationship between comprehensive tourism and city. In addition, it summarized overseas advanced ideology on urban construction.Chapter three is the experience reference of domestic and overseas urbanization construction: it analyzed domestic and overseas excellent cases in urbanization construction, and summarized the city and town construction experience of advanced cases.Chapter four expounded on why new-type urbanization construction needs to be dominated by the concept of comprehensive tourism via comprehensive tourism dominated urbanization characteristics, and proposed its construction route, i.e. constructing comprehensive tourism dominated “three suitable cities and towns”.Chapter five put forward the construction mode and countermeasure of comprehensive tourism dominated “three suitable cities and towns”. Guided by human-orientation, personalization and experience, it proposed the countermeasure for the space, population, industry and cultural protection in the construction of comprehensive tourism dominated “three suitable cities and towns”.Chapter six is conclusion: it summarized research achievements and prospected on future research.
