An Empirical Analysis Of Rural Ecotourism To Promote New Urbanization

New urbanization is the important grasper of our country economy sustainable growth and development, is one of the fundamental ways to solve the Three Rural Issues, is a powerful lever to transform the economic growth mode and to adjust the industrial structure in order to expand domestic demand, is the important strategic to realize the modernization. New-type small towns are important tache to link urban and rural, and the important base for exchanging urban and rural culture, and the key part of the new urbanization. Therefore, it is important to study the development of new-type small towns for the process of new urbanization. The construction of small town generally rely on own resources to develop the industry with regional characteristics, in order to promote economic and social development. Countryside ecological tourism is the inevitable demand when the standard of living improve to the middle-income, is one of the paths to develop characteristic tourism for the rural areas which is close to metropolis with rich ecological resources. Chang'an District of Xi'an City, located in the northern foot of Qinling Mountain, has the condition of taking a new road of urbanization for the development of tourism in small towns, and these towns have preliminary development. Therefore, this paper, taking Chang'an District, Xi'an city as an example, studying rural eco-tourism for promoting new urbanization, has a very important theoretical and practical significance.In addition to the introduction, the main content of this paper is divided into the following five parts:The first part (chapter 2) is the basis of the theory. Based on clearly defining the core concepts, such as rural ecological tourism, new urbanization, new towns and new-type small towns, focusing on the use of agglomeration economy theory and industrial structure change theory, the mechanism of promoting new urbanization by rural ecological tourism is analyzed, provide a solid theoretical basis for the following empirical analysis.The second part (chapter 3), empirical analysis was done toward rural ecological tourism promoting new urbanization, in the northern foot of Qinling Mountains, Chang'an District of Xi'an. First of all, in this chapter, rural ecological tourism and new urbanization status of Chang'an District were introduced and descriptive statistics analysis was done. Then empirical analysis was done on the promoting function of the former to the latter, including correlation test, Granger Causality test, ADF test and co-integration test, showing that, the development consistency exists between rural ecological tourism and the new urbanization in Chang'an District of Xi'an, with the comprehensive scores is 0.7; and the rural ecological tourism and new urbanization has single direction Granger causality relation, i.e., the new urbanization is obviously influenced by the development of rural ecotourism; there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between them.The third part (chapter 4) is case analysis about Shangwangcun. Firstly, introducing basic information, contains the basic situation and the development of countryside ecological tourism and new urbanization; second, discussing the three stages of Shangwangcun about the countryside ecological tourism and new urbanization; finally, summarizing the experience of countryside ecological tourism how to promote new urbanization in Shangwangcun.The fourth part (chapter 5) is the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. This chapter, aiming at the third chapter's empirical analysis and conclusions, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to further improve rural ecological tourism level, promote the process of urbanization and produce new tourism small town, mainly including:first, coordinating the relationship of development and protection to achieve sustainable development; second, increasing government investment to achieve the equalization of public products; third, promoting private capital accumulation to achieve agglomeration economies; fourth, protecting folk culture to build the new small towns with characteristicsThe fifth part is the sixth chapter, which is the summary of the full text and the prospects of further research.The innovation of this paper:first, the research object is, under the background of new urbanization, the promotion role of countryside ecological tourism in small town construction, not limited to the path of new urbanization, but focued on the development of small towns; second, green construction elements were added to the new urbanization index system to illustrate the detail of the new urbanization, and reflect the characteristics of new tourist town; third, taking Chang'an District of Xi'an city in Shaanxi Province as an example, researching the rural area that is rich in resources and close to the big city, how to use the development of rural ecological tourism to promote new-type urbanization process, to boost the construction of new tourist town.
