The Space-time Evolution Of Taicang Construction Land And Its Driving Force

As the material base of human existence and social development, land resource is the most significant component for the social resource, which is also the most significant fundamental influence factor on the aspect of urban expansion and cultural space. Meanwhile, with the development of economy, the progress of society and the advancement of industrialization and urbanization, there is an increasing number of demands of construction land, so it can be easily concluded that there is a serious conflict between the demand and supply of construction land for Taicang. In summary,to promote the saving use of construction land and motivate the rational expansion are the most significant task for the Taicang government.Taicang located in the Yangtze River Delta region, with the correlated regional economy development, there can be a highly speed of economy, and the regionalization,so it can be enforce the long-term expansion for the construction land. However, there is an obvious conflict between the utility rate of landing resource and the utility level of construction land.According to the domestic and international research results, and integrate with the the real conditions of Taicang, such as the natural resources, social development,regional status, and the present situation of land use, it can be through analysing the change of Taicang’s construction land and the driving force factors to control the irrational expansion for the whole construction land of Taicang, which can be achieve the sustainable utilization of the land resources under the high speed of economy development.To sum up, as the previous introduction, in this report, it can be included the following aspects:(1), Investigating the dynamic change of space characteristics for landingcharacteristics in Taicang, it can be found that although there is a high speed of construction landing expansion, the lower level utilization and the gradually structure optimization, furthermore, there is a significant different between the different space area of the construction land, especially on the city center, the New Area, and the Coastal Area.(2), To do the research on the principle of driving force on the change of construction land in Taicang. Frist of all, using the qualitative analysis method to analyzing the driving factor which can be influence the Taichang’s changes of construction land, and then, using the principal component analysis to do the same qualitative analyzing method to analyzing the choosing social economic factor. It can be found that the most significant driving force factor for the development of economy, the improvement of transportation and human being lives.(3), At the fundamental of previous studies, from the perspectives of land utilization system and planning, economy development, the level of transportation and the spatial distribution of construction land, it can be make the political recommendation to the rational expansion and utilization for the construction land of Taicang.
