Study On Post-evaluation Of Pipeline Project

Post project evaluation of Pipeline Engineering, an important aspect of projectmanagement, is divided into5major aspects, which are objectives, process, economicreturns, influence and sustainable evaluation. Usually carried out in2-3years after thecompletion and operation of a project, post project evaluation of Pipeline Engineering aimsto find out errors and deviation in project implementation, economic returns as well asrealization degree of project objectives by comparing its operation with feasible prediction,thus puts forward a suggestion based on analysis. The suggestion is not only a summary orimprovement of the feasible prediction in the initial stage of a project, but also a predictionand plan for the following project implementation. Meanwhile, it will give some advices torelated projects in the same industry.This article first analyzes and summarizes related works from both home and abroad.Second, after a brief introduction of relevant fundamental theories of post projectevaluation, the paper defines specific categories and contents of the project. And methodsfor indicator selection and weight calculation are preliminarily determined by analyzingcharacteristics of Pipeline Engineering management and principles for indicatordevelopment. Based on a contrastive analysis of characteristics and applicability of severalcommon methods for post project evaluation, this paper, combining with characteristics ofpipelines, determines individual contents as well as methods for comprehensive post projectevaluation on the basic of twelve five key research topic of China Petroleum PipelineBureau. Entropy weight-membership degree method will be adopted in post projectevaluation of sustainability, the focus of this paper. Finally, after conducting empiricalresearches on specific projects, based on collected statistics, this paper post evaluates theseprojects from six different perspectives ranging from objectives to sustainability by meansof comparative analysis and entropy weight-membership degree evaluation method,summarizes experiences for project management and presents proposals for improvement.
