The characters of desulfurization project for Thermal power plant is technology-intensive and capital-intensive, it not only needs big investment and long cycle, but also consume a lot of energy, the operation cost change a lot after flue gas desulfurization project, it make accounting more difficult. Before Thermal power plant did not carry out flue gas desulfurization project, the cost of coal and power generation equipment take up more than60%of the total cost, and once the flue gas desulfurization project put into production, the operation cost of flue gas desulfurization equipment will have a great effect on total production cost, therefore, it is very import for us to take the desulfurization result and economic benefits of flue gas desulfurization into account.The paper take flue gas desulfurization of Handan coal-fired power plant for example, it study the post evaluation of flue gas desulfurization for coal-fired power plant. First introduces several international desulfurization technique, discusses the necessity of implementing flue gas desulfurization for the thermal power plant, as well as the principle and process of flue gas desulfurization, then, set up a evaluation index system of flue gas desulfurization for Handan thermal plant, according to statistics result, the paper use entropy weight method to weight the index at all levels, in the same way, analyze the results by using the gray correlation method, finally, the paper analyze the problems existing and puts forward related suggestions.As the central party committee call for building an harmonious society that energy saving and environment friendly, it is the inevitable choice for coal-fired power plant to carry out flue gas desulfurization and capacity expansion to reduce air pollution.
