In current project construction, purchasing management plays an importantrole.To effectivily control in purchasing management work in the purchasingprocess each link, witch can improve the quality of the equipment purchased, tospeed up the equipment purchased supply cycle and reduce the purchase cost ofthe project.With the changing of construction project model updating,procurement management will face new challenges and pattern. Due to somecompanys insufficiently pay attention to management in the past and lack ofmanagement idea, a lot of large projects of China takes traditional procurementuntil now. This way has severely restricted the project development, and directlyaffect all aspects of the project.This article object of study for H corporation560MW Pakistan Bin Qasimgas fired co-generation project, the main purpose is for four aspects of timemanagement, cost management of procurement management, communicationmanagement, supplier management, and puts forward the countermeasures. Onthis basis, the use of advanced purchasing management principle, theory, anddraw lessons from the domestic and international advanced purchasingmanagement mode, proposed the project to ensure the specific measures, and themanagement platform on the basis of purchasing management, and to ensure thesmooth progress of project procurement management.This paper utilizes the method of systle for Bin Qasim project from generalto detail to plan, to overall grasps the essence of the procurement management,and from the specific issues to solve. This kind of purchase management methodcan be effectively applied to Bin Qasim project, and this method can be drawlessons by other projects.
