At present, the global food issues have received increasing attention, agriculture hasbeen development rapidly, stimulating the development of agriculture fertilizers,pesticides and other related agricultural product demand, while multinational companieshave increased their cooperation with China, which makes some domestic pesticidecompany get a tremendous growth opportunities, the pesticide industry produce asatisfactory answer and get a double growth in sales and profits in the overall environmentof downturn economic.KQ company was founded in2009, is a new pesticide manufacturers, was firstestablished with accurate product positioning and a solid marketing strategy quickly openthe market situation, after nearly four years of rapid development, has become an industryattention star. Along with the increasingly stringent regulatory policies and increasinglyfierce market competition environment, KQ company faces strategic choice for the futuredevelopment, whether adhere to professional in the pesticide industry to make bigger andstronger, or choose diversification to spread risk.In this paper, with the methods ofcombination of qualitative and quantitative, firstly, we make a in-depth analysis of KQcompany’s external environment and internal environment, discusses the various influenceof external environmental factors on the company operating and made an objectiveassessment of the company’s internal environment. Secondly, based on the comprehensiveanalysis of internal and external environment, through Industry concentration and theSWOT analysis, summed up the company’s own strengths and weaknesses, analysis themarket opportunities and external threats, analysis and compare of the advantages andshortcomings of the company’s development strategy of specialization and diversification,to make clear that the company should adhere to professional development strategy. KQcompany should focus on the pesticide industry, to build the core competitiveness, improve brand awareness, to become a leader in market, and then to rank among domesticlarge enterprises in the future. Finally, this article from four respects industrial chainintegration, product differentiation, cost leadership, winning brand, which makes aspecific measures for the professional development strategy of the company and providesimplementation path and safeguards for the business objectives implementation. At thesame time, provides a reference ideas for peers in the choice of specialization anddiversification strategy.
