Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)in China are the main driving force of the contemporary economy.To achieve further rapid and high-quality growth of the Chinese economy,promoting the development of SMEs is a necessary path.However,many SMEs in China face challenges such as short survival cycles,limited sources of funding,irregular management,and susceptibility to external influences,which hinder their growth and development.In order to provide strategic guidance and reference for SMEs facing development difficulties,this article selects one typical SME that follows the "specialization,refinement,novelty,and uniqueness" development strategy for analysis.This article analyzes the internal and external situation of JH Company using analysis tools such as PEST and SWOT,and derives the strategic choices for JH Company.Vertically,the company focuses on original technology as the core of its development,continuously increasing investment in technology research and development,and maintaining long-term concentration in the field of special industrial pumps.Horizontally,the company expands the application areas of core technologies,emphasizes distinctive after-sales services and energy-saving environmental businesses.Subsequently,measures are formulated to ensure and deepen the implementation of the "specialization,expertise,uniqueness,and novelty" strategy.Finally,by summarizing the development effectiveness of the "specialization,expertise,uniqueness,and novelty" strategy for JH Company,insights for the management of similar small and medium-sized enterprises are obtained.Firstly,it is important to deeply explore a single field and focus on technological innovation.Secondly,diversification of market application scenarios should be pursued,with a focus on the upstream of the industrial supply chain and diversification in the downstream market,thereby promoting mutual interaction between the upstream and downstream sectors and forming a virtuous cycle.Furthermore,the trend of digital transformation should be leveraged.Lastly,from the perspective of fostering specialized,innovative,unique,and novel small and medium-sized enterprises,seven suggestions are proposed,including strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship education,increasing investment in scientific research and technology development,reducing administrative approval and tax burdens,strengthening intellectual property protection,supporting the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises,facilitating digital empowerment,and establishing an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.This article not only validates the scientific nature of JH Company’s "specialization,expertise,uniqueness,and novelty" strategy in the current industrial environment but also enriches the theoretical foundation and practical guidance of the "specialization,expertise,uniqueness,and novelty" strategy from multiple perspectives. |
