The Empirical Research On The Relationship Between The Finance Industry Cluster And The Ecomomic Growth In Tianjin

With the development of economic globalization， and under the impulse ofinformation and technology， the financial industry has developed rapidly. Thecross-border flow of financial capital has become more and more frequent. Financinginstitution concentrated in a city or in a locale. Finance industry cluster has been thefundamental pattern in the development of financial industry. For my country， thephenomenon of finance industry cluster is obvious. So far， there is much study concernedabout the finance clustering， but most of the study is about the fairly developed economicarea and financial center. Especially most of researchers investigate the financialdevelopment of Shanghai. The north area had paid more attention to the development ofpolitics and culture before. The financial industry has developed rapidly in recent years.Tianjin is the biggest coastal open city in the north China， and on the current some peoplepropose to build Tianjin into a financial center for Tianjin is the financial center of in thenorth China. Form the actual situation， the finance industry cluster of Tianjin is obvious.So research on the present situation of the finance industry cluster， and analysis about therelationship between the finance industry cluster and the economic growth in Tianjin hasbeen significant.This paper investigates the relationship between the finance industry cluster and theeconomic growth form theoretical aspects firstly， and then analyze the relationship ofTianjin form practical aspects. The thesis has five parts. The first part is introduction，consists of the background、the significance and purpose of the study， literature reviewshas related from domestic and international， ideas and methods、major innovation andshortcomings of the research. The second part is the theoretical study about the financeindustry cluster， including the implication、the reasons and the transmission ways of thefinance industry cluster to the economic growth. The third part and the fourth part arepractical analysis. The third part analyze the present situation of the economic growth andthe financial， and the level of the finance industry cluster in Tianjin. This part analyze theadvantages and disadvantages in the development of the finance industry cluster. The fourthpart is the practical analysis of the relationship between the finance industry cluster and theeconomic growth by using the Granger causality test. The fifth part is the policy suggestion and the summary of the research， according to the empirical conclusions and combiningwith the actual situation of Tianjin.
