Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Comprehensive Service Logistics Enterprises

In recent years, with the enterprises paying more attention to the logistics activityand the government’s policy support to the logistics industry, the domestic logisticsenterprises has achieved great development. But because of the late start and the weakfoundation, the domestic logistics enterprises have many problems and theircomprehensive strength needs to be raised. The national standard classifies thedomestic logistics enterprises into three classes: transportation type, warehouse typeand comprehensive service type. By comparison, transportation type and warehousetype develop more mature, while comprehensive service type is still at the start stage.So it has realistic directive significance to research on the performance evaluation ofthe logistics business enterprise of comprehensive service. Still, the logistics businessenterprise of comprehensive service is the main development trend, so this researchhas leadership function.This paper builds the performance evaluation index system of the comprehensiveservice logistics enterprises with the technique of both the theoretical analysis and theauthentic proof analysis, and takes a combined objective and subjective method tomeasure and evaluate the performance of the comprehensive service logisticsenterprises. In addition, the paper proves the feasibility of the performance evaluationsystem with the empirical approach according to the actual situation of our country.The main purpose of this study is to explore a set of performance evaluation indexsystem and an evaluation method which suits the actual situation of ourcomprehensive service logistics enterprises, in order to make some contribution to theperfection of the theory and the practical activity.Firstly, this paper introduces the basic theories on the enterprise performanceevaluation, mainly including balanced score card stakeholder theory and economicvalue added theory, and proposes the principles of building a performance evaluationindex system. It also introduces the main elements of a performance evaluationsystem. Secondly, the paper builds the performance evaluation index system of thecomprehensive service logistics enterprises based on the previously mentionedtheories. The system includes five aspects: finance dimension, operation dimension,customer dimension, employee dimension and social responsibility dimension. What’s more, the author gives the index’s quantitative criteria. Thirdly, after analyzing thecharacteristics of the popular comprehensive evaluation methods, the author chooses acombined objective and subjective method—adopting the triangular fuzzy analytichierarchy process to calculate the subjective weight and using the entropy method tocalculate the objective weight. The result of combination evaluation method is morescientific and reasonable. Besides, according to the hierarchical structure of theperformance evaluation system, the author adopts a weighted average method to buildthe performance evaluation model. Lastly, according the empirical research on thecomprehensive service logistics enterprise, the author demonstrates the rationality ofthe index system and the practicability and maneuverability of the evaluation method.There are three main productions in this paper. Firstly, combining three mainkinds of theories about the company’s performance evaluation, the author builds a setof performance evaluation index system which meets with the characteristics of thecomprehensive service logistics enterprises. Secondly, the author makes out acombined objective and subjective method to determine the index weight. Thismethod combines the triangular fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and entropy methodwith correction coefficient. It integrates the subjectivity and objectivity, and promotesthe index weight’s rationality and scientificity. Thirdly, by researching in thecomprehensive service logistics enterprise, the author revises index system gradually,and testifies the feasibility of the evaluation method and the model.
