Study On Schedule Management Of Aerospace Propulsion Institute Cooperative Project

Aerospace industry, as an extensively leading and challenging sector, servesas a leading drive not only in the global industry, but also in the domesticstrategic high-tech industry. With the ever-intensified global market competitionand the advent of the knowledge-based economic era, the current projectmanagement system of our aerospace institutions is no longer capable offulfilling the needs of the development of the aerospace industry. How toimprove its functions, in order to promote the development of the aerospa ceactivities, it became a key element to strengthen the project management and theproject organization. Cooperative project is an integral part in the aerospaceresearch and the development of military products as well as civilian productsand it is also closely connected with raising national strength and improvingpeople’s lives. Carrying out the related theoretical research in instructing thedevelopment and management of the cooperative project is of great importancein both theoretical and practical sense; it is therefore a task, which urgently needsto be thoroughly dealt with.The research work of the presented thesis is based on the planned schedulecontrol of the military products cooperative project carried out by the AerospacePropulsion Institute. Based on the relevant theory and the successful experience,the thesis introduces the current management pattern and features of theaerospace system, raises the existing problems of the planning and controlling ofthe schedule plan of the cooperative project by the Aerospace PropulsionInstitute, and analyses the reasons which caused the problems in particular. Withthe help of process and methods related to the project schedule management, theschedule plan and the schedule control method of the circulation precoolingsystem of rocket cooperative project have been re-adapted and optimized. In theend, the thesis discusses the protection measures applied in the schedulemanagement of the cooperative project in four different aspects, namely,organization, personnel, team construction, and production technique andmanagement system of the cooperative project, in order to help to solve theexisting problems in the process of the schedule management cooperative project,in favor of the organization and operation of the following cooperative projectThe thesis helps to establish a feasible control management pattern for theAerospace Propulsion Institute.The analysis and examination of the thesis on the schedule planning andcontrolling of the cooperative project shed light on the related theoretic issues and can be made reference to for our institute and other comparable sectors.
