Looking back over the past20years, China’s hotel industry started with confusednessto the vitality after over23years of trials and hardships. In recent10years, the Chinesehotel industry has entered a period of unprecedented rapid growth, and the rate andquantity of it is on the top of Asia. Currently, nearly30million people work in the hotelindustry, become one of the most vital industries of employment. The hotel industry as aconsumption terminal end industry has played a significant role in the development ofrelevant industries. It is the new growth points in the development of the national economyand the supporting point of stimulating domestic demand.The rapid expansion of the hotel industry in Chongqing demands greatly for thebasic-level management personnel. Lacking in the management talents often leads to theinstability. Almost all the hotel’s grass-roots managers are trained in the mentor-traineemode. The training blank has blocked the way of more talents.The paper takes Chongqing TY Hotel for example, investigating TY Hotel, its humanresource situation and existing issues. The author uses SWOT analysis based on the hotelhuman resources training status, design Chongqing TY Hotel’s human resources trainingsystem through the study on the internal advantage, internal disadvantage, externalopportunities and external threat of the hotel. And the implementation recommendation ofhuman resources training system is provided in hope of solving the relative problems in thehotel, and in hope of giving some reference and inspiration to the other hotels inChongqing.
