As the people’s standard of living and leisure time are increasing,the consumption ideas oftourists are gradually changing and appear a new development trend.Because of above reasons,people desire to return to nature and relax body and mind more and more,and therefore theneed for leisure ideas is dramatically growing.The implementation of The People’s Republic ofChina Tourism Law promotes the healthy and stable development of the tourist industry,effectively protects the benefits of tourists,further clarifies the obligations of travel agency andscenic spot,obviously improves the legal construction in tourism,further stimulates the people’sdesire to travel.Under the new situation,significant changes have taken place in the pattern andstructure of the tourist industry.As a new type of tourism,sports tourism has the multifunctionof leisure,fitness,entertainment and social activity,makes tourists experience new things whichis a unprecedented enjoyment.Sports tourism is gradually favored by tourists,and has becomeone of the global fashion tourism because of its unique charm.The research objects in thisarticle include the subject–tourist and objects which are the core scenic area, its related sportstourism resources and its tourism product.With transformation and development of holiday andleisure tourism,the study on the Hengshan Mountain sports tourism is of practical significance.Hengshan Mountain has become a famous tourist resort in China and even in the worldfor its splendid and magnificent natural scenery and its culture resources of a long history.Hengshan Mountain builds an important basis for the development of sports tourism with itsstrong history and culture,excellent geographical location,unique natural landscape and richsports tourism resources in natural environment.But Hengshan Mountain sports tourism hasjust started,there are many problems such as theoretical research lag,the small size of themarket,the lack of effective project development,the lack of overall planning,the lack ofprofessional talents of sports tourism etc,which restrict the development of Hengyang tourism.This paper deeply study on status and characteristic of the developments of Hengshan Mountain sports tourism.It applies the theory of forest cultural tourism,ecological tourism andsports tourism and other subjects to micro research on Hengshan Mountain’s sports tourism bythe ways of human subjects such as field investigation,careful observation,deep interviews,historical documents and logical analysis and induction,etc,and try to discuss on the total statusof the sports tourism,resource utilization and advantages or disadvantage of tourism resourcedevelopment.Based on above,it puts forward constructive suggestions about exploitation ofHengshan Mountain’s sports tourism resources in the future.The main contents are as follows.The first chapter is the main introduction on thedomestic and foreign research status of sports tourism,the purpose and significance of theresearch,research methods,and research objects,to ensure the feasibility of this study.Thesecond chapter is mainly research on sports tourism by the ways of theories and methods ofhuman subjects,mainly includes the definition and scale of sports tourism resources,logicinduction about types and characteristics of it,in order to provide a theoretical perspective forthe study of the article.The third chapter analyze its unique tourism resources,market,projectclassification and development status based on the current basis of Hengshan Mountain sportstourism.Through the analysis,the Hengshan Mountain have the advantage on sports tourismdevelopment,for example,rich sports tourism resources,excellent traffic conditions,muchtourism market potential,but there are also actual problems such as issues in planning,issues indevelopment,lack of professionals,etc.The fourth chapter carries on analysis on projectdevelopment of Hengshan Mountain sports tourism based on the unique resources of HengshanMountain.The fifth chapter puts forward strategic suggestion on the development of sportstourism resources of Hengshan Mountain from the two aspects of orientation and strategythrough the above analysis.The sixth chapter summarizes and suggests. It summarizes the full research based on theconstant development of Hengshan Mountain sports tourism and progress of tourism industry.The author believes that both development and utilization should be done together.The specificmeasures are as follows: First of all,we must update the concept and fully know its advantage, the value and significance of the development of sports tourism in Hengshan Mountain fromthe tourist point of view.Secondly,we must research, plan and practice on it,step by step,gradually develop from the operational aspects.Thirdly,from the government perspective,weshould suggest the local tourism bureau,sports bureau and other departments to set up projectsto take full advantage of sports tourism and demonstrate the comprehensive effect of tourism.Fourthly,we should make branding based on the market.Lastly,we should speed up the trainingof sports tourism talents,provide intellectual support and reference for the wisdom of HengshanMountain.This paper will carry on researches on sports tourism development of Hengshan Mountainduring the historical period of transformation and development of tourism in China,providemultiple suggestions on how to better develop Hengshan Mountain sports tourism,in order toprovide a platform and theoretical support for the development of Hengshan Mountain sportstourism under the new situation.
