Research On Collaborative Development Mechanism Of Urban-rural And Tourism In Pingyao

Pingyao,is the best famous ancient preserved town in present China. Pingyao Ancient City is one of the China’s45World Heritages, one of China’s four World Heritage Alliance Cities,one of the first batch of China’s historical and cultural cities.Since the early1980s,the public has increasingly concerned about Pingyao, mainly from the ancient city in the early days, to the tourism of the ancient city at the beginning of this century, and now to the collaborative development of the county.Meanwhile.more and more tourist cities begin to explore the development mode of Pingyao, in order to derive the desired learning experience.Pingyao’s previous development experience can be summarized, but its future development faced the dual challenge of transformation and sustainable development.On the one hand, the limited coal resources and the coal industry’s high environment pollution promote the transformation of Pingyao to explore new development direction.On the other hand, uniqueness and broadness of tourism resources promote Pingyao to continue to explore new modes of tourism development. At the same time,it is not only questions for Pingyao city to achieve sustainable development goals, but also to balance development between urban and rural.Therefore, the key of the future development of Pingyao County lies in how to achieve sustainable development through the county’s industrial restructuring as well as urban and rural.Based on the above background, this paper uses synergistic theory as a guide to explore the mode and mechanism of synergistic between townships and tourism development of Pingyao County.With the whole country space for objects, mainly from the existence of elaborate mechanisms for collaborative development, characterized mechanism, the formation mechanism of the four aspects constitute mechanisms and focus on collaborative spatial dimension of development.The research composes of building development model, analyzing Pingyao’s current situation, and elaborating mechanisms.The first part is to build a space model between coordinated development and tourism. Mainly by the presence of co-ordination, tourism theory and collaboration theory to explain the existence of the cooperative relationships.With analysis of17Chinese tourism counties, four ancient cities and other cases,the paper summarized features of collaborative development,and built collaborative development model about the space.The second part is the cognitive status of Pingyao. Pingyao faces problems with two aspects of urban and rural development and tourism.The third part is to explain the mechanism of Pingyao’s collaborative development model.With changes in the urban and rural development after the tourism industry’s entrance, the paper analyzed the reasons for the inevitable formation of collaborative development mechanism.Finally, it explained the mechanism from the five objectives of goals,strategies, models, association and guarantee.The innovation of this paper is,the application of cooperative theory, proposing cooperative development between urban and rural and tourism,as well as building development model with a number of tourist space units. This space model can be also learned by other tourist cities.
