Research On The Effect Of Technological Innovation On Shandong’s Export Commodity Structure

The Competition of the21st century lies in technology and talent and thetechnological innovation plays an increasingly important role in the promotion ofinternational trade development. A country will be in a favorable position in exporttrade when facing the increasingly fierce competition if it has the high proportion ofindustrial manufactured goods and high-tech products. The exports of ShandongProvince in2011has reached$125.79billion and the volume of trade has made greatachievements, but most of the export commodities are of low technical content, littlecompetition and posing great challenge to resources and environment, which hasgreatly hindered the development of export trade of Shandong Province. It is of theurgent need to innovate technology.From the perspective of technological innovation and under the guidance of therelated theories of the export trade, this paper researches the present situation of thetechnological innovation and the change of the export commodity structure ofShandong Province on the basis of previous studies. With a large number of chartsand datas,we analyze investment trends in the export trade commodity structurechanges and the stage of technological innovation of Shandong Province, outputstatus analyzes the correlation between the two. Furthermore, taking the high-techindustry as representative, applying econometric analysis tool,The technologicalinnovation include three aspects: the capital investment, staff input, volume andtechnological achievements and so on,we regard these as the starting point,this paperanalyzes the relationship between the number of the high and new technologyindustry and scientific and technological innovation in a quantitative manner, to givetheoretical support for puting forward to reasonable suggestions.Finally, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions byconsidering the two most important factors affecting the export of high-tech:Technology talent and capital investment. Shandong province should attachimportance to the implementation of the strategy of talents, pay attention to the talentincentive and accumulation, and at the same time pay emphasis on the enhancement of capital investment through various channels, to create an excellent atmosphere forscience and technology innovation. Only in this way can we promote the optimizationof the export result and achieve sustainable and healthy development of the economy.
