Firstly, this thesis forms its theoretical base by describing the background and significance of the topic, giving an overview of related theories and research findings at home and abroad, introducing different compensation strategy modes. Then presents and analyses the current situations of the skilled workers’ salary incentive mechanism in the Zhejiang Power Construction Corporation (hereinafter called DJ Corporation). The author conducted a survey among the skilled workers and concluded that the salary of the DJ Corporation lacks internal and external fairness, and the management process lacks fairness, resulting from the ambiguity of the compensation strategy, outdating of salary ideas and absence of scientific and effective performance assessment system.Following that, this thesis, being directed by the principal of fairness、 effectiveness and lawfulness, explains the design procedures、the category、level and elasticity of the salary. It also analyses and evaluates the skilled workers’posts. Based on the investigation on local employed workers’salary、the guidance price level system for the labor market and salary level of peer industries, the thesis indicates the factors affecting the salary level, identifies the modules composing the compensation system and designs a new compensation scheme, according to which, employees’ basic salary is arranged by post wage system, while performance-related salary proportionally links with individual performance. As for overtime pay, the year-end welfare, they are consistent with law, and show the doctrine of fare competition. In short, the new compensation scheme does well in novelty、 competitiveness、operability.Finally, the thesis emphasizes taking some measures to secure the operating of the new compensation scheme. Meanwhile, it comments on the novelty、 competitiveness and operability of the above scheme, following which an outlook is given.
