The competition in21th Century is science and technology, the competition ofscience and technology in the final analysis is the competition of talents. People is the mostactive factor of productivity. The talent is the key of the enterprises development. Staffturnover has become the biggest problem in many enterprises anyway. So how to retaintalents, keep the staff loss control in the reasonable scope, make enterprises remaininvincible in the fierce market competition, is the key problem of modern human resourcemanagement. A certain staff turnover rate helps to maintain the vitality of enterprises,firstly it can eliminate the low quality of the staff, secondly it can improve staff awarenessof competition and innovation spirit. This paper studies how to reduce the loss of activeemployees, namely the talents which companies need.Based on the investigation and analysis of the former employees of ChangshuMobile(2010-2012) and communication with HR related personnel, with the actual workexperience, I summed up the factors of employee turnover of Changshu Mobile includingorganizational and non-organizational factors.And offered the main factors for theproposed measures to retain talent. With the guidance of the "Work embedding theory","Maslow’s hierarchy of needs","Herzberg two-factor theory,""Marge Simon model","Preiss model" and other theories, I think we should strengthen the management of therecruitment system, education and employment mechanism, career planning, incentives,corporate culture, employment in order to retain the talented people, to provide a guaranteefor the sustainable development of enterprises.
