Researches on leadership type had been the hot topic in the organizationalbehavior and management area. From transactional leadership to transformationalleadership, and from servant leadership to spiritual leadership, it all reflected theinterest and attention of the academic research on leadership. The effect of leadershipon organizational and individual performance of ascension had been receivedconsensus broadly; however, the studies of the leadership should not ignore thesituationResearches about leadership must be combined with traditional culturalbackground, in our country, was there a style of leadership that suitable with ourcountry’s culture universally which could improve employee’s work attitude andbehavior in our country; it was the focus both in the Industry area and the academiccircles.It always stressed the importance of the people in our country traditional culture;it implied that the subordinates had sufficient intelligence. As a leader, to mobilizeand inspire the subordinates’ wisdom completely was the first mission. For the leaders,it was the most important manners to serve the subordinates well for inspiring thesubordinates’ wisdom; therefore, this study focused the servant leadership, andexplored the influence of the servant leadership on the work engagement and itsmechanism, on this bias, the marginal effect of the mechanism was studied in thisthesis.This study conducted the quality analysis of servant leadership questionnaire first;it proved that the servant leadership questionnaire had ideal reliability and validitywhich contained three dimensions: guidance to persuade, altruistic motives andservice-oriented, subsequent researches were processed with the servant leadershipquestionnaire, the conclusions of the researches as follows:(1) The servant leadership had positive influence on work engagementsignificantly among employees, leader trust, psychological security andleader-members exchange played partial mediation between respectively, and all the three parallel multiple mediation played a partial mediation between the servantleadership and work engagement together;(2) The leader-members exchange played moderation on the mediation of thepsychological security between the servant leadership and work engagement, and itimpacted the first stage specifically, in other words, the leader-members exchangemoderated the relationship between the servant leadership and the psychologicalsecurity which it was built a moderated mediation.
