It is a problem universally acknowledged by the people to win the superiority, being survived and getting developed in face of the increasingly fierce competition from the globalization of the economic market. Drawing much attention of the foreign enterprises, performance management comes to be the key to the operation and management of an enterprise. However, in the practical enterprise management, many problems lie in performance management of the enterprises at home, which severely affected the performance management of the enterprise, and largely weakened the execution of the strategies of the enterprises.The paper tells the methods to improve the strategic execution through optimizing the performance management system of SK so as to promote the core competitiveness of the company.First of all, the paper gives the summary about the theories of performance management at home and abroad based on the definition and the analysis on the current performance techniques, which have been widely used. Secondly, it presents the concrete analysis on the current status of SK Company in terms of performance management through interviews, on-site investigation and expert consultation etc., to the specified jobs of performance management of SK. In this way, it reveals the main problems in performance management of SK at present and further dissects the reasons behind. Thirdly, integrating the main theories and methods about performance management with the practical performance management of SK, the paper includes the optimal design on performance management system, as well as the inspirations about upgrading and perfecting the performance management system and the technical path. Last but not least, through the analysis to the predicted effect of the performance management system of SK, it contributes to the effective measurement maintaining the system. Step by step, the paper gives a set of performance management system with high standard, high efficiency and high operation, with an aim of solving the existing problems to SK, providing the reference to the performance management of the similar enterprises at home.
