Study On Transportation Risk Management Of Hazardous Chemical In The Laide Company On The Basis Of FMEA

With the rapid development of Chinese social economy,many industry andfields,which use dangerous chemical as raw material,are developing rapidly becauseof the demanding of high-tech materials and precision instruments in recentyears.More and more industry and fields need more complex and higher riskhazardous chemicals.Chemistry transportation,especially hazardous chemistrytransportation,are more and more important in the development of national economyin our country.From raw material in construction industry to medical supplies inmedical industry,hazardous chemistry transportation are needed in lots of fields.Theexpansion of chemistry transportation fields plays an important role in other fields insocial economy.Hazardous chemicals have its unique characteristics.During the process oftransportation,once safety accident happened,it may not be a simple accident,it isalways accompanied by the leakage of hazardous chemicals.The accidents probablycause combustion,explosion,corrosion,poison and other diffusible catastrophe,whichdeeply endanger public safety and property,as well as environmentalpollution.Hazardous chemistry transportation accidents have usually happened inrecent years,which were paid widely attention by society,even national leaders.Theyput forward some requirements about safety management of hazardous chemistrytransportation to government sectors,aiming at reducing such accidents.This article uses a multinational chemical enterprise’s branch in China and itshazardous chemistry transportation as study object.Through the analysis oftransportation management system of Laide company,this article based on the analysisof influencing factors of hazardous chemistry transportation,combining with Laide’stransportational procedures,using FMEA to analyze transportation faults and reasonsin the company,finding out the procedures which probably cause hazardous chemistrytransportation risks.Then calculating and transforming the order of severity,probability and difficulties of stoppage,assessing the risks of each procedureswith three sectors,and finally putting forward some countermeasures to solve theproblems.This article rises that FMEA can be used to evaluate enterprisetransportation system,analyze potential faults and reasons,find the procedures andfactors which risk the system before the accidents happened.Then put forward somecountermeasures to reduce the possibility or seriousness of the accidents,Preliminarilydiscussing the application of FMEA,from analysis measures to management field inthe academic level.
