With the sustained, healthy and rapid development of Chinese economy, ports actas a windowto show the national image to the world, and their status is constantlyrising,whichis promoting the development of port container logistics park. In order tofully exert the circulation function of the port container logistics park, and to reduce oravoid the waste of land resources in logistics park, it is urgent to study the intensity ofland development of the port container logistics park, so as to use the reasonableindicators of development intensity to guide the scientific development of the portcontainer logistics park.Firstly,thispaper elaboratessome concepts related to the port container logisticspark and the intensity of land development, and analysesthe current indicators of landdevelopment intensity both domesticand international port container logistics park.Then, the paper uses PENT method to analyse some factors which strongly influencethe controlling indicatorsof land development intensity about the port container logisticspark, and establishes the indicators system of factors. Lastly, the paper calculatesthevalue of indicatoraccording to the calculation method of land development intensitywhich will be presented in the paper. The practicability of the calculation method willbe verified in the case analysis.The most innovative point of this paper lies in that a method is proposed which canquantitatively calculate the controlling index of land development intensity about theport container logistics park, this method can solve some problems such as blinddevelopment,lacking of pertinence etc, which exist indetermine the index of landdevelopment intensity about the port container logistics park in practice. Additionally,there are other innovations,including applyingPENT analysis method to analyse theinfluencing factors of land development intensity on the port container logisticspark,using correction coefficient to rectify the indicators of land development intensitywhich is calculated based on single factor,and optimizing the model of both theconsumption method of time and space and proportion sharing method. All of theseinnovations can be better used to calculate the land scale of logistics park.
