In the21st century, with the globalization and informatization of economy, market environment and internal environment of enterprises have changed dramatically. Market demands change dynamically; customers have higher requirements of products and service; and market competition gets more intense. The new economic environment brings big challenges to enterprises. Chinese enterprises, especially middle and small sized enterprises, lack scientific and standard business processes and reasonable organization structure because of weakness of industry base, which influences their continuous development. So, it is significant to study business processes and organization structure of enterprises under the new economic environment.H Company is a technology company, which provides service of transformation of coal-fired boilers for thermal power plants to purify flue gas. Facing the new economic environment and the good market opportunity brought by series of policies and regulations to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, H Company reengineered its business processes and organization structure in order to solve the problems of business processes and organization structure and make the company develop sustainably. The paper studies the reengineering of business processes and organization structure in H Company deeply using the methods of literature research, interview and comparative analysis. Firstly, the paper introduces the general condition and the background of the business process reengineering of H Company, illustrates the problems of the business processes and the organization structure, and point out the necessity for H Company to reengineer its business processes. Then the paper introduces the principles, the methods and the whole program of the business process reengineering in H Company. After that, the paper analyzes the effects of the reengineering of business processes and organization structure in H Company, and presents relevant suggestions of continuous improvement. Finally, the paper summarizes the research achievements.This paper draws the following conclusions. Firstly, enterprises must consider their practical situations when they reengineer business processes. Secondly, enterprises must carry out necessary communication and training before business process reengineering. Thirdly, enterprises should adjust organization structure and performance appraisal system appropriately according practical situation to make them adapt new business processes. Furthermore, enterprises should monitor and evaluate new business processes to make sure they operate properly. This paper is helpful for the development of H Company and provide guide for other similar companies as well.
