Business process re-engineering (BPR) is a management revolution. Based on the view of labor dividing,in order to adapt to variable and competable requirement of market,the transformation of the enterprise operation process and the organization construction has been initiated. It has been extremely popular all over the world since the 1990's.With the open of China telecommunication market and the variety of market main body. China telecommunication is facing the intense market competition. How to adapt the new market circumstances is especially important. In this situation, the telecommunication enterprise starts the process re-engineering.The thesis uses the theory of Business process re-engineering (BPR), approaches the process re-engineering of the telecommunication enterprise, and analyzes the current problem of the telecommunication enterprise:(1) It responds slowly to the market and is insensitive to the competing reaction;(2) There are too many wrangles between the departments and the process does not have the integrity;(3) It Lacks the effective inspection and the reasonable target system;(4) The organization construction does not adapt the need of market competition;(5) The management system is insufficiently clear;First the organization construction has been re-engineered in the article. It embodies the transformation from planned economy system to market economy system. It changes the convenience of internal management into the convenience of customer; Extension Growing drived by customer counts is transformed into intension growing which takes the benefit as the target.Then the process of the telephone installing, partial use of the network resources and the service of important customer has been re-engineered. After the re-engineering, the process efficiency has been dramatic raised, the service quality has been further enhanced and is closer to the market.Finally, it points out problems about six aspects which should be paid attention to in the process re-engineering of telecommunication enterprise in the article.The conclusion part points out the latest idea of BPR again.
