Evaluation Study On Intensive Utilization Of The Construction Land In Tangshan Municipality

China is generally characterized by the great large population and scarce land. With the fast economic growth, there was dramatic demand on construction land and extensive land use. Therefore, it is inevitable to pursue intensive land utilization, tap internal potentials and improve the efficiency of land use for purpose of solving contradiction between supply and demand of urban land. Land intensive utilization is a hot research issue and an important way to building a resource-saving society, alleviating the contradiction between supply and demand of urban land, and guaranteeing a stable and rapid socio-economic development. Tangshan municipality is located in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban region. At present she is faced with the issues such as urban transition, industry concentration and coast-oriented industrial redistribution, But the intensification of land use is key to the above projects. In the future, the demand for construction land will continue to increase due to the hub construction, the development of logistics industry and the expansion of urban system. Only the conception of circular economy and intensive land use can sustain economic development. In order to improve the level of intensive construction land use and realize sustainable utilization of construction land in Tangshan, a study of evaluation of construction land intensive utilization in Tangshan municipality is conducted in this thesis. On the basis of theoretical review of intensive land use and construction of evaluation indicator system, the intensive construction land use condition of Tangshan is evaluated and analyzed, and the policy measures of intensive utilization and construction land security are suggested, so that technical support of construction land use management can be provided.On the analysis of relevant theories and research methods both home and abroad, a multi-objective comprehensive evaluation method is adopted to make an assessment of intensive construction land use of Tangshan municipality by region and type. The results shows that the overall level of intensive construction land use is enhanced in Tangshan municipality, but there exists an obvious regional variation. The level of intensive construction land use declined almost in all sub-regions except for Fengnan district and Fengrun distrct. For Tanghai county, Luannan and Guye districts it goes down clearly. For the most part, the falldown pace in2002-2005period is faster than in1999-2002period. The policies of acting depending on local conditions, activating existent construction land and lowly efficient used land, planning new construction land as a whole, and strengthening macro control on land use, are suggested to promote intensive construction land use.
