Control On The Influencing Factors Of Operational Risk In P-Bank’s Integration Program

Gradually, operational risk management has been an important component part of total risk management in commercial banks in China, and its importance has been obvious in recent years. In the meantime, China Banking Regulatory Commission proposes an explanation about operational risk management, it requires Chinese commercial banks to increase prevent and control on operational risk. But the studies and attentions on operational risk management in China are in the beginning stage, and the concept of cognition and methods about operational risk management comparatively lag behind. It is very urgent and necessary to study and practice on operational risk management of commercial banks in China.This paper base on the integration program in P-Bank, identify and tease the risk points about the program through expert interviews. On this basis, it analyzes the influencing factors of operational risk and constructs their conceptual model through Delphi Method. After two rounds of score, it gets the result of rank about the influencing factors on each risk point.On these research results, this paper conducted pointed research on how control the influencing factors in the program, including control principle, basis, methods and system from organization, program to individual. In view of P-Bank, it gives the ways and advises of operational risk control, in order to help the program.In the last part of the paper, it analyzes the program of P-Bank, and sets three observed indexes in order to verify the effectiveness of those ways and advises. In the fact, three observed indexes, turndown rate, client satisfaction, and operation error rate, meet expectations.
