| Recently, China is entering a period of rapid urbanization. Along with theincreasing urban population and the rapid development of urban industrial, urbanconstruction land demand is also increasing. Especially resource-based cities, due tothe industrial development and the concentration of population brought by resourcedevelopment, urban development on the needs of the construction land becomes moreprominent. Combined with the special factors of the resource-based cities in natural,socio-economic, ecological security, the contradiction between supply and demand ofland becomes more prominent. The most direct impact of rapid urbanization makesthe cycle of urban master plan shorter than before, which also brought a new round ofconstruction land suitability evaluation requirements in urban master planning.Solving the outstanding problems of land selected for urban development becomesprimary research issues.Under the background of Liulin City Master Plan (2012-2030), this paper is aresearch of urban construction land suitability evaluation in county planning area.Based on the multi-factor comprehensive evaluation model, the study select natural,socio-economic, ecological safety factors as the evaluation index which is impact theurban land. In this study, I use the Analytic Hierarchy Process to assign each indexweight. Relying on the GIS technology which is widely used in geography and urbanplanning, I make spatial processing, establishment of spatial database and rasteroverlay analysis for each index. Combined with the special factor range, the researchwas supported the urban construction land suitability evaluation partition.Subsequently, in terms of population and land size predicted, combined with thedirection of urban land expansion choice, the research makes the final land selection. The main conclusions of this study are:1. The characteristics of resource-based urban land use have its particularity andcomplexity. Resource-based urban construction land suitability evaluation issynthetically affected by the traditional natural conditions, economic and socialconditions, but also affected by the distribution of mineral resources, coal goaf distribution and geological disaster-prone area.2. The results for the construction land suitability evaluation in Liulin planning areashow that better conditions land take a smaller proportion. The results show that Landsuitability is divided into five classes: suitable construction land, more appropriateconstruction land, conditional construction land, not suitable construction land,Prohibition of construction land. Their area respectively are27.391975km2,49.3225km2,78.881475km2,0.9818km2,88.83615km2, Proportion of11.16%ã€20.10%ã€32.14%ã€0.40%ã€36.20%. Prohibition of construction land area accounted for thelargest proportion. The area of suitable and more appropriate construction landrespectively are27.391975km2and49.3225km2, accounting for only11.16%and20.10%. According to the results of the evaluation, the space development of countyis priority to the development of the suitable and more appropriate construction land, and takes conditional land as a long-term construction land. However, taking intoaccount of the intensive land use, and a variety of land effected by the huge mountain,in order to achieve the needs of the group development, next time we need to makemountain transformation for better conditions land.3. In Liulin planning area, the construction land is tension, land can be developed islittle, and the construction land development is difficult. According to the aggregateanalysis, the city to the north and south development is a significant advantage, thearea we can use is larger than other area. The contiguous land in the west side of thecity should be fully utilized planning. Planning land development direction: the focusto the north and south development, local westward. Be summarized as: extend north, across south, limit east, control west.By2030, the population of the planning area will be expected to20million people. The scale of urban construction land is about20km2, with the land gap of5.351km2.Accordance with the requirements of the direction of urban development, the studyfinalizes three blocks more suitable for development: the northeast block, southeastblock and northwest block. The sum of the three blocks is approximately9.243km2.Be fully rational development, and we will be able to meet the demand for land forthe next stage. However, due to the impact of the mountain slope, the difficulty of the development of these three blocks is not small. |
