In decades, strength of land-use is higher and higher，and even over the area’sbearing capacity. As a result, the eco-environment became worse and worse withdifferent problems which influence humans’survive appeared seriously. Peopleproposed ecological civilization based on sustainable development. What theecological civilization requires is not only the beautiful eco-environment but also thehigh-speed economy. The high-speed economy guarantees the beautifuleco-environment, and builds fine eco-environment as premise. Optimize method andstructure of economic developing to achieve the coordination development betweeneconomy and eco-environment.Due the research of ecological civilization still stays the primary stage at home, Itry to build a theoretical framework of it. First, try to explaining the connotation ofconcepts about ecological civilization evaluation, definite its subjects and objects.Secondly, build an indicators’system of ecological civilization evaluation fromeco-environment, social-economy and total coordination degree. Take standardizationand variation coefficient as methods to research ecological civilization. Set researchzone as JiangSu province, LUCC analysis from time and space due2004to2008,ecological civilization analysis at the same time. Based on the conclusions, makingout the direction of future land-use and the principle which LUCC effects ecologicalcivilization.We can get conclusions from the research:①Which type of land use thatoccupied by constructive land is turn farmland to unutilized land. This shows that landuse tends to reasonable.②The degree and structure of land use is better than before.③The construction of ecological civilization has got some achievements, but there’resome problems between natural resources and economic development.④Highdegree of correlation between ecological civilization and land-use type, such asfarmland, construction land, unutilized land and so on.⑤The land use of JiangSuprovince is developed towards optimized structure and transformation form in future.
