Research On Development Countermeasure For Modern Trams System Of New Urban Rail Transit

Urban rail transit is an important step in construction of infrastructure. As thenational economy grows constantly and rapidly and the process of urbanizationaccelerates to speed up，the contradictions between urban infrastructure facilities andurbanization development，especially the urban rail transit facilities，has becomeincreasingly prominent. From the point of view for urbanization development inseveral countries，urban rail transit has become a major way for urban transports inwestern developed countries due to its technical advantages of large capacity， fastspeed，safe and reliable，punctuality and comfort. Therefore，the study on urban railtransit mode will play a positive role in provoking the national urban publictransports.Currently，in some large scale cities，the construction of urban rail transit carryout mainly in metro and other modes in supplement. In consideration of currentsituation and development plan in different cities，various transport modes must beadopted in order to fulfill the requirement from aspects of different locations，population and culture environment. The12thPlan proposes that: The development ofco-coordinating the various modes of transport，orderly advances light rail， metro，tram and urban rail transit network construction，actively develops the ground rapidtransit system.The modern tram has been widely used in foreign large and medium-sized cities;however， it is still in infancy in China. Currently，China’s rapid urban developmentproposes new requirements for improving the comprehensive urban transportationsystem，accelerating public transport and realizing green travel. The tram hasadvantages of low carbon emission reduction，less population and protection of urbanenvironment. It has important practical and strategic significance to promote thedevelopment of modern trams and build a multi-level urban rail transit system.In this thesis，analysis is made on development process and current situation formodern tram system，research is carried on the development of domestic and foreignmodern trams，systematic analysis is made on the key technical features of the moderntram system in route，equipment，operation and system integration，proposing thescope and development prospect for modern tram system in China. And，hierarchicaldemonstration research on development countermeasures for adopting the techniquesin China from aspects of plan，pilot and management measures. Finally，standardsuggestions are proposed in specified constructed projects for modern trams..
