With the development of transmission, the technology of automatic control of transmission has gradually become mature. Automated Mechanical Transmission(AMT) is one of the types of automatic transmission. AMT apply the technology of electronic and the theory of automatic control at the base of traditional gear mechanical transmission. The Transmission Control Unit(TCU) act as the core of AMT. It can realize operation through driving the actuator with the pressure from hydraulic,air or motor. Transmission system software technology is one of the key technology in the design of automatic transmission. To research and design low costing, perfect in function and highly reliable system software of AMT will improve the development of vehicle transmission technology.This object aims at designing a system software of AMT. Its support of calibration device on-line calibrating based on support the original control algorithm of transmission. The system according to the authority controlled by handle or calibration device. it can complete original start or shift operation in the control of handle. It can also realize program updating, parameter updating, Real-time uploading data, calibrating or testing experiment in the control of calibration device.This object use MC9S12XEP100 which created by NXP company as the core of TCU, AMT connect with calibration device through CAN bus. The system is divided into two subsystems: guiding subsystem and working subsystem. Guiding system is used to update program and data. Working subsystem is used to realize original start or shift operation, calibrating and so on. Considering the stability and security of software, design the system parts in detail and upload information to calibration device when the system occur fault. in addition, store the information in flash in order that the engineer can look over it. The system uses interrupt redirection mechanism to realize that two subsystem use the same interrupt source together but can realize different interrupt process. Uses watch dog interrupt mode to realize soft reset of the software system of the transmission.Designing AMT software system using this method has realized the following function: Support the controlling function such as original start and shift.Support calibration device to update procedure and parameters for TCU. Support calibration device to calibrate experiment, test experiment and test of reliablity. Support TCU to upload parameter data in real time to calibration device.
