IOT system for oil and ga s production uses the se nsing, radio frequency, communications technology to distinguish compre hensively oil and gas well of upstream production sectors, m etering room, station, pipeline networks and other production comprehensive objects. The syste m achieves autom atic acquisition and control f or production data as well as m onitoring and managing for oil and gas field production, improves production operation unit’ s the level of autom ation and production efficiency of oil and gas fields, provides in formation foundation and ways of making scientific decision for intelligent oil f ield. With the increas e of users who use the system, querying and updating operation for the databas e will be m ore and more frequent. Besides, datab ase will also face various greater pressu res. In genera l, performance of database determines the performance of the entire system, which has an important influence on the actual production efficiency of the oil field. To solve the a bove problems, locating, analyzing and improving the performance of oil a nd gas production database is needed to im prove production efficiency and reduce maintenance costs for the database.This topic takes IOT system for oil and ga s production as the rese arch object, firstly introduces the background of database performance optimization technology and the research status at home and abroad. secondly, it describes the architecture of the Oracle database and optimizer tools such as TKPR OF, AWR, 10046 event and optim ization techniques such as storage optimization, memory optimization and SQL optim ization.Thirdly, According to analysis results of optim ization tool in CPU performance,memory performance, I/O performance, index perform ance and SQL perform ance, this thes is conclude that there a re some problems in CPU, m emory, SQL. La stly, the corresponding solutions which can improve the perform ance of the system’s database is proposed. The results of analyzing the optimization shows, the im proved and Optimized scheme in this thesis has ac hieved a good effect and has a great practical value.
