The Testing Model Design And Application Of Electronic Medical Record System Based On Business Process

In November 2011, the national Ministry of Health released the Electronic Medical Record System Function and Application Level Grading Standards in order to help medical institutions develop the electronic medical record system along the correct route and to guide the electronic medical record system toward the direction of scientific and high quality management. At the same time, it is believed to provide the basis for inspection rules of electronic medical record classification, market access and evaluation. Along with the unceasingly thorough of our country’s medical health information construction, the electronic medical records system, which is an important part of the medical information technology, has the practical significance and research value.However, electronic medical record system developed lately in our country. There are no unified standard and specification requirements for the function of electronic medical records. There is no consistent understanding for electronic medical records system between different manufacturers. Meanwhile the application level of electronic medical records between different region hospitals are not identical.Based on the above reasons, the author put forward the electronic medical record system testing model based on business process according to the project of the electronic medical record system application level evaluation in medical institutions in Shanghai. The model is referenced to the commonly used testing model of scene test. The author analyzed the function point in the evaluation of electronic medical record system project, divided the electronic medical record system into 20 sub- systems and got the test scenarios in the way of behavior sequence.And then according to the real production environment of the electronic medical record system, the author integrated these scenes in the point of users. Then the author analyzed the business process of electronic medical record subsystem and got the test path. Finally, the author presents the test method in the actual production environment and analyzes the case of application level evaluation in a hospital in Shanghai.The paper is based on the business processes of electronic medical record system and the related knowledge of software testing. The testing model of the electronic medical record system is proposed hoping to reduce the human cost in the process of testing and to improve the efficiency of testing. What’s more, it is supposed to provide some experience for the later this kind of work and to provide the suggestion for the application of electronic medical record system development in China.
