With the rapid development of the digital products in Internet, in the predictable future, these products will get increasingly involved in our daily work and life. Although digital rights management system can effectively protect the copyrights of digital products in the process of manufacture, circulation and consumption, it still has faced several security risks. As a result, the risk assessment of digital rights management system is indispensable.At present, an extraordinarily scientific and reasonable assessment method for digital rights management system has not come out. After a profound analysis of the digital rights management system, this paper, based on the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process, has launched out a risk assessment pattern which is applied to the internship company. Specifically speaking,the paper consists of the following aspects.The risk assessment model which is adapted to digital rights management system is determined through the analysis of the commonly used method and the advantages and disadvantages; the review of the related technology and risks based on the characters of digital rights management system.The judgment matrix of the traditional assessment model which is based on the analytic hierarchy process is determined by the expert. Consequently, the results are not very accurate due to the subjectivity. To solve this problem, this paper,by the use of fuzzy mathematics, improves the risk assessment model. The model adopts the Delphi method to collect the judgment matrix which is applied to the importance of asset assessment by the experts. During the calculative process of assets ratio, the experts’ judgment matrix is converted to a triangular fuzzy one, in turn, the ratio of each asset is assessed. The quantification and grading of the risk system can be determined by the multiplication of the occurring probability and the fatality of the results.Based on the analysis of the framework of the digital rights management system in stream media of the Neulion company; the demonstration of the function and of modular and the relationship among each of them,and the summarization of a scientific and targeted risk assessment index, along with the assessment model launched by the paper, the risk assessment practice is finished. According to this, the assets are divided into stream media assets, license assets, key assets and assets of user authority. And also, organize the experts to score each indicator. Finally, the asset ratio of the stream media in digital rights management system and the risk value of rank in specific risk event are achieved. Through the detailed analysis of the calculative process, it comes out the conclusion that the biggest risk in the stream media of digital rights management system in Neulion is the license risk, then comes to the risk related to the contents of the steam media. The risk from the system itself is relatively low, which has already achieved a secure standard.The application of this research findings to the specific stream media of digital rights management system proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the risk assessment model which is targeted to the digital rights management system.
