Based On XML Of The Design Of Online Marking System

Online marking system has been widely used in the large and medium-sized exam. Now,there are mainly based on OMR answer card marking system and based on paper scan image identification marking system. These scoring systems on the test specifications are strict restrictions, such as special answer cards or marked special answer sheet, not marking papers. Aiming at the problem of the existence of the marking system, thesis of research background and review of the related technology of dynamic foundation, proposed the use of questions generated paper template and guidance to scan the papers to the XML document conversion method design online marking system based on XML, the main function modules, and to the actual course exam papers as an example to verify the accuracy of the marking system versatility and marking information extraction. Concrete from the following several aspects of research:(1) Test of XML template design. Based on the information description model of constraints of non-fixed paper,it describes the logical structure of the paper through the XML document, and designs data structure according to the logical structure of the XML document to complete the production of papers and guide marking process.(2) Extraction of metadata information. To solve the online marking system independence, flexibility and expansion, the key is through certain logical structure of formal description language to describe the logical structure of the paper and it will location information of file maps to the image space coordinate system through coordinate transformation and test image segmentation region from using the minimum circumscribed rectangle algorithm.(3) The marking. After the test image segmentation, It forms several pictures of a paper. Based on the metadata theory, it makes unstructured image information into XML document, parses through the DOM, and then generates the DOM tree of objective answer questions paper and matches with standard answer DOM tree to complete of the judgment of the objective test. The part of subjective questions uses coordinates integral storage. While marking,they are distributed to read teacher directly. During the process, they need to increase the retrial link on the question paper.
