Distributed Online Marking System Based On Machine Vision

There is a profound impact on all aspects of the field of education examination with the development of Computer technology, network technology, the development of image processing technology. Online marking in this context come out as a subjective question to control the marking error, achieve a fair, just for the purpose of the principle of the new scoring model.Online marking is a historic change of the traditional way of marking.it combine the traditional manual scoring experience with the modern high-tech digital image processing technology and computer network technology . teachers no longer score directly on the original candidates papers, but on the electronic papers in the computer network.This paper first introduces marking patterns on the working principle and analyzes application status of online marking system. It bring forward new design based on digital image processing technology and computer network technology which not only improve the efficiency of the latter part of the marking, but also flexibility of time and space for the marking of teachers.In this paper, the works are as follow:1. Pre-processing on paper using digital image processing technology, correcting tilt test, divide up objective and subjective part of paper.2. A set of multi-layer architecture based on distributed system design using computer network technology, and planning system framework, functional modules.3. By software programming to implement preprocessing division of papers, as well as WEB server architecture.
