Along with the rapid development of modern information technology such as the computer network, communication and multimedia, road transport enterprises, according to the development needs of their management and business, actively promote the information ization process of the transport system. As a result, all kinds of application systems have been put into use.The application of informationization not only can efficiently promote work efficiency of transport enterprises but also can provide convenience in terms of cost control and management mode and improve enterprise’s competitive advantage and sustainable development. However, due to the lack of unified planning, these application systems formed an isolated information island and problems loom large in the process of actual work, which mainly manifested in the following aspects:Firstly, the use of inconvenient. Through different accounts, users can log on to the corresponding business system. As users are easy to confuse or forget the account information, they usually can’t go into the business system, which affects the daily production operation.Secondly, the lack of centralized and unified management of user information.User information is often heterogeneous, even conflictive, in various business systems, so it’s difficult to achieve the unity of the user management and maintenance. In addition, the administrator need to manage the multiple information of users, so the work is relatively complicated and error-prone.Thirdly, the lack of unified policy and mechanism of security system. Each functional subsystem has its own users and privilege management and its security strategy and mechanism is uneven, which may make the whole system pose a safety hazard. This study focuses on developing a transportation management system on the basis of SOA architecture so that users can access to the whole network through single sign-on. This transportation management system connects different functional units(services) of application program through the well-defined interfaces among services so that the service of difference systems can use a centralized way to carry out the man-machine dialogue and interchange information. By this way, the centralized and unified management of users and unified policy and mechanism of security system can be realized. What’s more, it can realize the data sharing and information exchange between systems and implement enterprise application integration in a higher level, building an efficient operation and data sharing and comprehensive service information system for the user. Therefore, this topic has important research significance and value of practical application.Based on the collecting, arranging and analyzing of the corresponding materials about the current situation, key technology, development of information portal, this study focuses on the research of the single sign-on and centralized user management. In combination with the demand of practical application in my work unit, this design has been successfully used. The main works in the thesis are described as the following:First, the conception, characteristics, key technology and development trends of information system are summarized and analyzed. Then, on the basis of complete investigation and comprehensive analysis, the author puts forward the concrete project including its demanding analysis based on SOA, main functions, system architecture, function module design, processing procedure, database design. Finally, the system is implemented, and the part of the system is displayed. At present, this system has been tested and is on probation. With the features of relatively complete functions, well flexible expansibility and intuitive operating and user-friendly interface, it received affirmation and praise of the unit and the user.
