In recent years, the domestic study of users’ information behavior in the field of library and information is still mostly for university user groups. This makes a big gap compared to the diversity of studies abroad. And with the continuous development of the domestic studies, more detailed studies for dedicated user groups will be valued. Secondary school teachers have different work tasks and background with university teachers. Study on information behavior of the secondary school teachers group is conducive to exploring the behavior characteristics of different small groups under the big teacher group. As a result, the author chooses secondary school teachers as the object, and explores the characteristics of information seeking behavior and influencing factors of behavior disposition in their teaching activities.On the basis of literature research, this study combines with interviews to collect preliminary data, concludes expressions and influencing factors domain of information seeking behavior, and completes the design of the questionnaire. Then investigating information seeking behavior characteristics and influencing factors of behavior disposition based on teaching tasks of secondary school teachers through the questionnaire, using statistical methods and structural equation model to analysis and processing the data, constructing the model of influencing factors. Based on the analysis results, conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Demographic factors, like gender, age, seniority, title and status have a significant impact on secondary school teachers’ information seeking behavior.(2)Building the model of influencing factors for secondary school teachers’ information seeking behavior disposition. The model shows that individual factors and information quality factors have a direct impact on behavior disposition; Social environment, information environment, situation and task factors have indirect effects. According to the study results, this paper gives some tips to help teachers approach information effectively, including strengthening the construction of resources, transforming the mode of service, launching information technology training, encouraging teachers to participate in the study and training, and so on.
