Research On The Influencing Factors Of Research-based User Profile Information Search Behavior

With the advancement of society and the popularization of the Internet,people began to consciously seek all kinds of information through a variety of ways.Information and information seeking are also playing an increasingly important role in learning,working,socializing and other activities.As the subject of seeking behavior,users gradually play a leading role in various information seeking activities from passive receivers and acquirers of information.Information seeking behavior and its effects are also different due to different user groups.As a special user group,research users will have more explicit seeking motivation and purpose reflected through seeking effect,and their seeking behaviors will also show specialization,integration,and diversification.Record information is one of the important sources for research users to obtain information.Due to the development of information technology,users' seeking behavior no longer focuses on traditional literature,and the source of seeking for record information is not limited to archives institutions.Therefore,seeking behavior process and effect will be affected by many factors,and have certain complexity and hierarchy.This paper explores the influencing factors of research users record information seeking behavior effect through the qualitative research method of grounded theory.First,define the concept of research users and record information seeking behavior effect,and through literature research,sort out the domestic and foreign research status of specific groups of information seeking behavior,information seeking behavior effect,and record information seeking behavior effect,so as to demonstrate the feasibility and research space of the research.Second,through the interview method to collect interview data,three-level coding analysis of the interview data,a more comprehensive summary of the factors that affect the effect of research users' record information seeking behavior,and develop a more systematic theoretical framework.In the analysis process,a total of 71 initial codes,18 categories,8 main categories,4 dimensions,and 1 core category of "Record Information Seeking Effect" were summarized.Third,by interpreting the connotation of each influencing factor of the research user record information seeking behavior effect,the factors that affect the research user record information seeking behavior effect are divided into two categories,internal factors and external factors,and the causal relationship and intermediary relationship and interaction mechanism among the various influencing factors are revealed,thus constructing the research user record information seeking behavior effect influencing factors UBIE model.Fourth,in view of the factors that influence research user record information seeking behavior effect,specific optimization strategies for archives service are put forward.This paper delineates the research object as research users,takes the effect of record information seeking behavior as the research object,explores the influencing factors of the record information seeking behavior effect of research users,and creatively proposes the UBIE model of factors affecting the effect of research user record information seeking behavior.It makes up for the shortcomings of the current domestic record user theory and record information behavior research,enriches the academic circle's cognition of research user seeking behavior rules,and is of great significance for archives to improve and perfect the retrieval system,and to enhance the service level and quality of archives.
